چکیده

Introduction Streptococci are the major etiology in mastitis dairy cattle, a cause of huge economic losses industries. This study was aimed to determine diversity Streptococcus spp. isolated from clinical cattle reared Bangladesh. Methods A total 843 lactating four prominent farms and one community were purposively included this where 80 positive (CM) based on gross changes udder (redness, swelling, sensitive udder) and/or milk (flakes clots). Milk samples collected all eighty with (CCM) twenty five apparently healthy (AHC). Samples enriched Luria Bertani broth (LB) hundred microliter enrichment culture spread onto selective media for isolation Staphylococcus spp., Enterococcus Escherichia coli Corynebacterium pathogen associated mastitis. Isolates recovered further confirmed by species specific PCR. Results Discussion Out 105 examined 56.2% (59/105), 17.14% (18/105), 9.52% (10/105) 22.9% (24/105) , faecalis E. respectively. then directed determination through sequencing 16S rRNA . eighteen CCM (22.5%) but none AHC cultural molecular examination. Sequencing phylogenetic analysis identified 55.6, 33.3, 5.6 5.6% isolates as uberis agalactiae hyovaginalis urinalis Considering high prevalence worldwide increasing trend S. mastitis, in-depth characterization performed whole genome sequencing. Five strain subjected WGS two novel ST types identified, indicating presence at least different genotypes areas. On virulence profiling, harbored 35 putative genes probably intramammary infection (IMI) potential pathogen. Overall findings suggest that encountered bovine is diverse might be predominantly CM The carries an array factors need investigated genotypically phenotypically identify trait governing fitness bacterium. Moreover, genomic information could used development new tools gene profiling

Genetic patterns of Streptococcus uberis isolated from bovine mastitis.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the genotypic relationships among 40 Streptococcus uberis isolated from bovine mastitis by using pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). Additionally, the association between PFGE patterns and virulence profiles was investigated. The isolates exhibited 17 PFGE patterns. Different strains were found within and among herds; however, a low number of isolates ...

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of Streptococcus uberis isolated from bovine subclinical mastitis in Argentinean dairy farms.

The aim of this study was to investigate the phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of Streptococcus uberis isolated from subclinical mastitis (SCM) cases, and to examine the possible association between both characteristics. A total of 32 S. uberis were isolated from 772 quarter milk samples (SCM > 250,000 cells/ml) collected from 195 cows selected randomly from 18 dairy farms located in Arg...

Evaluation of tandem repeats for MLVA typing of Streptococcus uberis isolated from bovine mastitis

BACKGROUND Streptococcus uberis is a common cause of bovine mastitis and recommended control measures, based on improved milking practice, teat dipping and antibiotic treatment at drying-off, are poorly efficient against this environmental pathogen. A simple and efficient typing method would be helpful in identifying S.uberis sources, virulent strains and cow to cow transmission. The potential ...
